The U. S. Army Cyber Protection Brigade was constituted on 2 April 2014 in the Regular Army as a subordinate unit of the 7th Signal Command (Theater). The unit is headquartered at Fort Gordon, GA and it's mission is to rapidly evaluate, and act in response to unexpected and dynamic cyber situations. Defend the nation in response to hostile action and imminent cyber threats. Conduct global cyberspace operations to deter, disrupt, and defeat our adversary’s cyberspace operations, and defend the United States through specialized cyber support missions.
